I decided to start this blog when I suddenly became hypersensitive to foods containing onions and garlic. Particularly raw onions cause me to have intense migraine headaches, which I have never experienced before. After around two weeks of intense headaches every night and sometimes after lunch, I tested out this theory by making dinner sans onions and voila! No headache. So I tested this theory a bit more, and did some research to find that red onions, cooking onions, green onions, onion powder, garlic and garlic powder all cause headaches for me, with raw onions being the worst.
I have been trying to eat out since that is our family's favorite weekend activity, but that has proven to be quite the challenge. This means that if we are to eat, we (meaning I) must cook! Of course, this has proven to be quite challenging so I thought I would post my successful eating adventures online in case others find themselves in a similar situation.
Cheers,
Jess
